Camp. Where you can enjoy the lake after playing in the hot sun. Connect with friends and share a meal. Learn new skills. All of this was accomplished when a small group from Jarc visited Tamarack Camps. It was a beautiful, sunny day for attendees to enjoy canoeing and kayaking, lunch, and a tour of the camp.
This opportunity was part of Hobbies and Hangouts, a program of Making Community Connections (MCC). MCC’s goal is to match those served by Jarc with people without disabilities to discover mutual interests and form friendships. Hobbies and Hangouts enables these connections by offering unique series of small classes, where attendees can learn together.
