Sara learned from an early age the importance of helping others, and that value continues to impact her. She deeply believes that everyone should be treated equally, and kindness is a focal point of her life. She has spent much of her time volunteering for numerous organizations over the years, including her beloved temple, Beth Shalom. As a very active member, Sara participates in all sorts of activities there, including a crafting club, where she learned to crochet. This winter, Sara used her talent to make over a dozen hats to donate to a homeless shelter. But she didn’t just make hats – she first researched the most versatile style that would be enjoyed by the largest number of potential recipients, regardless of gender or size. Sara shares her joyous spirit and positivity with our entire Jarc community.
