Jarc supports individuals with developmental disabilities in the home setting of their choice within Oakland County, Michigan.

Services

Jarc is funded primarily via Medicaid, and per our contract, in order to receive services from Jarc, an individual must:

Be a resident of Oakland County
Have a qualified, diagnosed developmental or intellectual disability
Have an authorization for residential support

Group Homes

Suitable for individuals with complex medical needs or who require assistance with personal care.

Suitable for individuals who require support, but a group home would be too restrictive for them.

Suitable for individuals who live in the family home and need support.

Funding Matters

Our work would not be possible without government funding, which makes up 80% of our budget and covers necessities such as food, shelter, and basic staffing. The nature of the system of payment funneling is complicated and impersonal, and Jarc transforms these coveted dollars into hands-on, personalized care. 

The remaining 20% comes from our generous donors and provides everything "extra" that makes life fun and exciting for those we serve.
